• Community Contributions & Feed Posts: Information submitted when you post songs/lyrics to your feed, use our user-submission portal, or report community corrections/typos.
• Social & Interactive Content (Stories, Messages & Connections): Data generated when you publish stories, exchange direct messages with other users, maintain follow/following lists, or block accounts on the platform.
• Voice Search Data: If you utilize our voice search technology to find songs or artists, temporary audio signals or text conversions are processed strictly to deliver instant search results.
• AI Song Generator Inputs: When you use our “Create Your Own Song” tool, we collect the topic, keywords, mood, and optional name/title you enter, along with any photo you choose to upload for your song’s feature card.
• Purchase & Payment Records: When you buy AI song points, redeem a coupon code, or earn referral points, we keep a record of the amount, points, date, and payment/transaction reference in your account’s Purchase History — see Section 4 below for details on how payments themselves are handled.

3. AI Song Generator & Related Data

Our “Create Your Own Song” feature uses Google’s Gemini AI service to generate original lyrics based on the topic, keywords, mood, and optional name you provide. This input text is sent to Google’s Gemini API for processing in order to generate your song. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information (such as addresses, financial details, or private identifiers) in your song requests, as this data is processed by a third-party AI service.

If you choose to upload a photo to personalize your generated song’s feature card, that photo is uploaded to and stored on our own servers and is used only to display within your song’s content and shared card images.

Songs you generate are saved privately to your account (visible only to you and site administrators) unless you choose to share them to the community feed, your favorites, or your profile stories.

To operate our points, daily-quota, and referral system fairly — and to prevent abuse through fake or duplicate accounts — we store a hashed (non-reversible) version of your IP address and device identifier when you use the referral program. This hashed data cannot be used to reveal your original IP address or device details and is used solely to detect and prevent abuse of the points system.

4. Payments & Points Purchases

When you buy AI song points through our “Buy Points” feature, your payment is processed securely by Razorpay, an independent, RBI-authorized third-party payment gateway. We do not collect, see, or store your card number, UPI ID, netbanking credentials, or any other payment credential at any point — that information is entered directly on Razorpay’s own secure checkout and is handled entirely under Razorpay’s Privacy Policy.

What we do store on our own servers, tied to your account, is limited to: the amount you paid, the number of points purchased, the date of purchase, and the payment/transaction ID that Razorpay returns to us after a successful payment. This is what powers your “Purchase History” panel and is also what we use if you request a refund — see our Refund Policy for how refunds are requested, reviewed, and processed.

Coupon redemptions and referral bonuses are recorded the same way (points, date, and the coupon code or referring user), but involve no payment data at all since no money changes hands for those.

5. How We Use Your Information

We utilize the collected data for various operational and community-driven purposes:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our multi-language lyrics database and interactive community space.
• Improve, personalize, and expand website features, translations, and user interface.
• Understand and analyze how visitors navigate and utilize our website content.
• Process your user account registrations, manage bookmarks, and handle user-submitted lyrics or corrections.
• Facilitate user-to-user interactions, including feed sharing, publishing stories, direct messaging, and managing your follow or block preferences.
• Generate AI-powered song lyrics through your topic, keyword, and mood inputs, and maintain your points/referral balance.
• Process your points purchases, coupon redemptions, and any refund requests you submit.
• Communicate with you directly for customer support, service updates, community guidelines, or promotional updates.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical bugs, security issues, or fraudulent/abusive activity.

6. Log Files & Analytics

Baap of Movies Lyrics follows a standard procedure of utilizing log files. These files record visitors when they access websites—a standard practice for hosting analytics. Information collected includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser types, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), date/time stamps, referring/exit pages, and click counts. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information and are used purely for analyzing trends, site administration, and tracking site movement.
